The employee & Journalist Health Scheme in Telangana Government is responsible for better medical services for government employees/ Pensioners and Journalists. This scheme not only helps the employees but their dependents too. This scheme has a high rate of success and more employees are getting benefited through this scheme.   • There is no Online application process to apply for the Health scheme.
  • Employees’/Pensioner and Journalist data is provided by the DDO ( The Drawing and Disbursing Officer ) by following steps:

Step 1: Submitting Application Form

  • Login with the user ID of employees or Pensioner in their presence
  • This required the documents of the employees/pensioners and all data entry needs to be done.

Step 2: Approving of Application

  • Check the data carefully and cross-check with the provided documents.
  • Correct the minor errors on the application form.
  • In case if there are big errors then reject the application.
  • And if all data adds up then approve the application.

Step 3: Provide Post Data

  • Collected data along with the sanction no. is transferred to District Head
  • Through CFMS the data is sent to the Finance Department
  • Next, the data is sent to Aarogysari Healthcare Trust
  • Aarogysari Healthcare Trust then creates a new Health Card and provides the data on EHS web portal.

Exclusions of the Telangana Employee Health Card Scheme

Below are some conditions, where the scheme does not cover an employee’s expenses.

  • Treatment for Non-Identified Diseases as per EHS
  • Casual and Daily wage workers
  • Biological Parents (If adopted parents are alive or vice versa)
  • Those covered under Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS)
  • Independent children
  • Law officers like State Prosecutors, Public Prosecutors, State Counsel, Advocate General, and Government Pleaders
  • AIS Pensioners and officers
  • Employees working in Aarogya Bhadratha of the Police department, ESIS, Railways, RTC, and Aarogya Sahayatha of the Prohibition and Excise department

  • Now enter your User ID
  • Click on the Go option.
  • As a result a new password reset link will be sent on your registered phone number or E-mail ID.

What is EHS?

Employees Health Scheme is intended to provide cashless treatment to all the State Government employees, pensioners, and their dependent family members through a network of impaneled hospitals of Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, in lieu of the present medical reimbursement system under “The Andhra Pradesh Integrated Medical Attendance

Who is eligible for the Telangana Heath card scheme?

a) All regular State Government Employees, as defined under FR including provincialized work charged employees.
b) Provincialised Employees of local bodies
c) All service pensioners
d) Family pensioners
e) Re-employed service pensioners

Who are not eligible for applying for TS Health Card?

a) a) Those who are covered under other insurance schemes such as CGHS, ESIS, Railways, RTC., Aarogya Bhadratha of Police Department, and Aarogya Sahayatha of Prohibition & Excise Department;
b) Law officers (Advocate General, State Prosecutors, State Counsels, Govt. Pleaders and Public Prosecutors;
c) Casual and Daily paid workers;
d) Biological parents if adopted parents exist;
e) All independent children;
f) AIS officers and AIS pensioners and
g) Judicial Officers;

If parents of employee have an Aarogysari Card then they can apply for a TS Health card?

Aarogyasri Card (White Card) will only be given to the BPL families. If parents are wholly dependent for their livelihood on the Government servant, their white card stands canceled and disciplinary action will be initiated against the employee for using a benefit meant for the poor. The parents, who are living independently and have an Aarogyasri Card are not eligible and should not be included under the Employees Health Scheme by the employee.

Does stepchild are allowed in EHS Facilities?

Yes, Step Children are eligible for EHS benefits.

Are Judges, Govt. Pleaders, Standing counsels are eligible for the Health card scheme?

No, Law officers and Judicial Officers are not covered under the Scheme.
